The Child Friendly Business Awards are a Communities for Children Onkaparinga initiative created as a means of recognising innovative child and family friendly practices developed by businesses.
This year sixteen local businesses received an AnglicareSA Communities for Children Onkaparinga 2018 Child Friendly Business Award. These businesses go above and beyond in ensuring they are a welcoming and safe environment for families visiting with children, supporting their local community and providing a supportive workplace.

The recipients were presented with their awards by the Hon. Amanda Rishworth MP, Federal Member for Kingston at a family friendly event held at Zone Bowling Noarlunga on May 27. After the formal ceremony the business owners, their families, colleagues and friends participated in an afternoon of bowling with face painting, balloon twisting and afternoon tea.
